Where are we?
Infantry is the robot we will compete with in the ARCC 1v1 category. It is currently in the design stage. We share every step in our development log.

The five parts of the robot.
Chassis and suspension
Mecanum wheels let the robot slide in any direction without turning its body; the suspension keeps the wheels in contact with the floor.

Two-axis gimbal
A turret that rotates horizontally and vertically to point the barrel at the target.

Launcher and feeder
Plastic projectiles from the hopper are fed into the barrel and launched.

Armor panels
The panels the opponent tries to hit; the referee system detects every hit on them.

Electronics and software
Motor drivers, power distribution and sensors, plus the control and computer vision software that drives the robot.
