FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Which department should I be in?
Students from any department can apply. Besides the mechanical, electronics and software teams, we have an organization team that runs recruitment, events and outreach, so there is room for non-engineering departments too.
How much time should I commit per week?
We expect at least 4 hours a week. We are flexible during exam periods; the pace may pick up before competitions.
Can prep-year students join?
Yes. We especially welcome prep-year and first-year students; joining early means designing the robot with us from day one.
I have no robotics experience. Can I still join?
Yes. No experience required, only the will to learn. We learn together and work side by side with more experienced members.
Ready? Let’s get started.
The application form is short. We will get in touch with you afterwards.
